Heritage Haus
CLIENT: Tipler Group
The Heritage Haus project in Fredericksburg is a brilliant study in how architecture and landscape can exist in a state of quiet, intentional balance. Collaborating with the team at Tipler Group allowed for a true "reading" of the design intent—one that honors the rugged Hill Country spirit through a refined, editorial lens. In capturing these spaces, my focus was on highlighting the structural lines and defining the volume of the vaulted living areas, ensuring that the natural light served as an invisible tool to reveal the rich textures of stone and timber. The result is a series of compositions that feel both expansive and intimate, respecting the materials that anchor this home so deeply to its place.
Working within the integrated design-build framework of the Tipler Group provides a unique perspective on symmetry and visual pathing. From the way the light defines the entryway to the thoughtful balance of the interior finishes, every frame was shot with an observant eye toward the craftsmanship that makes this retreat so elevated. It was a pleasure to find those exact perspectives that resonate with the architectural continuity Tipler is known for. Finding the strongest compositions to tell this particular story was a spot-on experience from start to finish. Cheers to a successful project.
